In the quest to be fashionable and frugal you must..
Shop and think out side of the box. Yes malls are nice, you get the latest and newest and so does everyone else. If you are looking for individualism you have to try looking in other places to implement your style. The individualism that we all are reaching for. Try checking out local thrift stores, consignment shops, discount warehouses, etc
Now you saying to yourself the thrift store?.consignment shop?... fashion finds. Yep, you will be surprised, well some of you would be. On the amount of designer fashion you could get there. So being one that practices what I preach I went thrifting.
Rule one in thrifting is to know what you are looking for. Rule two know your designers. Rule three know your discount days. Rule four get to know the employees at the store. With these rules in mind I ventured off.

Next trip I went to Plato's Closet. I have heard about the place but never went. Its a consignment shop located more in the suburbs. Very nice atmosphere, the staff there are very helpful. I was only looking for the most part and wasn't even thinking about purchasing anything.
The clothing items there were gently
used and seen things from Zara, BCBG, Coach, Italian leather bags, leather shoes. They really had a nice selection of items in their store. Then I saw the clearance section. Yes a clearance section in a consignment shop.
I found them two leather bags 1/2 off. So I purchased a black hobo type bag
A great find the black bag ended up being $4.00 and the brown bag was $9.00 it was brand new. Trying to step up the game.
Overall both places were a pleasant shopping experience. And I will shop there again.
In the quest to be individuals some of us blend right in.
Stay Blessed
