Product review (beginner's beauty)

In the pursuit of "beating my face to the God's" one has to purchase products.  Personally for me makeup has to be at an affordable price right now i.e. drugstore and beauty supply brands of makeup. I know what you are saying cheap makeup must be crap.  Well beauty beginners I am here to say that it is not well not all of them.

Let's start with one  of my favorite mascaras Rimmel's Lash Accelerator. I purchased this mascara over the holiday season for $5, it came with an eyeshadow quad and khol eyepencil.  This mascara does what it claims lengthen your lashes over time. I have always had short curly lashes. But with prolonged use of this product my lashes have grown! I would recommend this mascara to any beginner who wants there eyelashes to stand out with out having to put on flash lashes. Its waterproof  so its not going smuge at the drop of moisture hitting your lashes. Great for beginner's like myself who want added drama without the added hassle of trying and failing at putting on lashes ourselves.

Next up is another Rimmel product its a shimmer product with a oeach tint. Which is perfect for dark skin tones it gives the face a natural glow and with the shimmer it helps with highlighting my cheekbones. Since I am not well versed in highlighting I used that for a more natural to sublte glow. And it does the trick.

Another favorite peach tint highlight is the Maybeline age rewind brightener #60, it has a lighter peach color to it and no added shimmer. I used it under and on top of my foundation as well as blending it out and placing mineralized face powder in my tone over it. And my face is gorgeous well on a beginner's level any way.

New on the drugstore market is L'Oreal's concealer crayon, as you can see by the pictures below I purchased the darkest shade that they had. Yet, it was still a bit yellow however,  it works great for defining my eyebrows and adding highlight to my brow bone for my deep skin tone. Now you must blend for your life when using this product or else it will show up blotchy under your foundation trust me I know. Its creamy texture helps it blends easily as long as you have moisturized your face. It may be harder to blend on drier skin.

Now for the CoverGirl instacheekbones it's an okay product, butnit probably would be better on a lighter skin tone than my self. It comes across chalky and I only use it as a pink natural highlight to my face if I pair it with a cranberry colored blush.

As for my favorite product so far has to be the Eco Tools brush set, omg  these brushes are so soft. Man I paid  $15  at Wal-Mart for the set and it was worth it. Soft brushes help blend the product better on your face as well as the brushes will not pull tug or bother the skin. For the price point they are at beginner's these brushes are a nice way to introduce yourself into makeup application, but that's in my opinion.

All products disscussed above and shown below were purchased with my own money. I chose to share my experience in the hopes thatnit will help another beginner at makeup such as myself.
