No Pin Pompadour| Protective Dread Loc Updo | Dread Loc Hairstyle

With Valentine's Day right around the corner. Nothing is better that an up-do to pull all the focus on to your face. Here a great style for the occasion.



To achieve this look all you will need is to have your dreads in a protective hairstyle i.e. rope twists, two strand twists, plaits,etc. No bobby pins are needed since you will tuck your locs to secure the up-do in place.  


Step 1: I rolled my locs into a french roll bringing it to the front of my head.

 Step 2: To secure the french roll into place I took a rope twist and wrapped it around the french roll and tucked the end to secure it into place.

Step 3: With the remaining hair I flipped it back onto the french roll.

Step 4: Tuck and position the Pompadour to your liking.

As you can see it is so easy to do this dread loc up-do. Great for medium to long dreads also if you have free form dreads as well.
