Karrueche's Interview with Iyanla | My Perspective

I watched Karrueche Tran's interview that she did with Iyanla Vanzant this past Saturday, and gained a better understanding of who she is and how she is no different that any other woman who has been hurt to her core repeatedly by her significant other.  No matter how you feel about Karrueche Tran her story isn't really new. What makes it interesting is the fact that her lover was a celebrity.

Take away his music, art, shoes, money, fame, infamy, and celebrity. What do you have a man in his mid twenties who treated his on again off again girlfriend like crap. He cheated , was accused and charged with domestic violence, lied, betrayed her, was disloyal and untrustworthy, and then he got someone other than his "girlfriend" pregnant.

Take away her fame/infamy through her boyfriend's celebrity. What do you have a woman in her mid twenties who allowed herself to compromise what makes her grow in a relationship. She was blinded by love trying so hard to be so different from every other women he has been with. She ended up becoming another girl on his list.

Now ask yourself how many times have you heard a story of a man cheating on his girl and ending up getting the mistress pregnant and the girl ends up taking him back.  Countless right, hell we haven even seen this play out before the days of social media with Maury, Jerry, Sally, Jenny, Ricki, etc.

So once again, I say this is nothing new toxic relationships play out everyday.

What's interesting is that Karrueche did not clap back at every single petty thing that was said about her.

What's different the whole world saw a toxic relationship play its self out via social media.

And the irony of it all, the countless people that say how and what she should be doing with her life. Are not living theirs and are in the midst of a toxic relationship themselves.

Stay Blessed
