Let me first start out by saying by no means am I an expert or guru of Social Media Strategies, or Social Media Marketing. However, these are some things that I did to help introduce my brand and increase its presence across my social media platforms.
TIP 1:
Figure out what is your Brand/Business is going to offer. This will help guide your on what your overall theme will be for your online presence. For example if you make gourmet cakes and can handle fondant like a BOSS. When someone Google's your name it should be filled with pictures, links, stories in regards to gourmet cake decorating.
TIP 2:
Make sure you stay on top of all new social media platforms. I know it seems like a new one comes out every other month, but staying on top of the ones that can convey your message the most effectively is key to increasing your presence.
TIP 3:
Comment, Like, Share, Subscribe. Interact with others on your social media platforms. No one know who you are, except your family and friends. Comment on some of your favorite Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc. You will be surprised how effective that can be in gaining followers.
TIP 4:
When you chose to post make sure it has value. You can take it one step further and add consistency to posting. If you do that along with TIP #3 you will start to gain followers and increase your presence over time.
Lastly, remain patient it took you nine months to be born. It will take some time for you to start to see a turn around. Remember these are only tips for those who have no clue on where to start and need some help in doing so.
