In the constant pursuit of attempting to master the art of applying makeup correctly a beginner must practice. And since Walgreens was having a buy one get one half off and I clipped some coupons. I was like what the hell it can always wash off..
Mind you this is my first time in attempting a full glam face, well the beginner's version of it anyway. Most of the products used were purchased recently. See photo below.
Like always I start with a freshly washed and moisturized face this allows products to be easily manipulated on your face.
Next I did my eyebrows filling in thin spaces, then took the darkest loreal concealer crayon to shape my brows. I usually use ruby kisses 3d face creator which is a lighter cream formula than the loreal.
Which must be applied under foundation its easier to blend into that way. I also applied the maybeline brightener (a bit to much) under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, and to my cupids bow. Blended for my life then applied my foundation.
Loreal truematch foundation in cool cocoa is the bomb (dot) com. I mean it blended wonderfuly with the maybeline and loreal concealer. I used my beauty blender sponge and flat top foundation brush. Did I mention I really llike this foundation. Its right up there with covergirl's 3in1 foundation for me anyway.
After that I did my eyes something real simple using my nikak eclipse palette. See photo below, then I got the bright idea to add loreal concealer on top of the foundation that was dumb on my part. To save the look I added some of the brightener to help blend out the loreal concealer. Then I set everything with L.A. colors mineral powder, which helped tone down the brightener. Applied lipstick and viola.
Beginner full glam. See photos below of my first attempt.
Its only makeup, might as well have fun.
This was Afrikah's Perspective.
Stay Blessed.
