Quick Product Review

Color Correction

In the quest of beating face beginner style, I was looking for something to give my full face look that *POP*. I wanted to achieve that "celeb" look I see YouTubers like +Destiny Godley , +PrettyGyrl Angie , @AllThingsFabulous101, @lilpumpkinpie05, @beatfacehoney, etc achieve when they are doing their tutorials.

I am no where near these ladies skill level, but what I have learned is the right color combination will have your skin looking flawless.

So I went out and purchased a under eye color corrector from Black Radiance. The first to color is an eyeshadow primer its silky to the touch. A little goes a long way and it dries to a matte with no residual color left on the eye lid.

The second color is supposed to be used for the under eye highlight. But, I recently tried it as a brow highlight in place of L'oreal crayon concealer. It blended so effortlessly. Both #1 & 2 are a silky cream consistency that dries to almost a powder like finish.

The third color is a pink toned setting powder for #2.

So what's my perspective on this product?

First off, as a beginner in this "beat face" game I am always looking for affordable ways to step up my makeup game and the Black Radiance product did just that.

The cost was under $5.00 say what, at my local CVS. The quality of the product was good an added bonus is that the #2 color can be used as an concealer for small spots and under eye as well as define the brow. The #3 setting powder has a pink tone to it. So you can use it as a highlight color for your tear duct area, subtle  brow highlight, and add a more natural highlight in my opinion for me.

With this product as well with all cream products you must blend, blend, blend, and if you didn't get it the first time blend for your life. If not it will appear patchy and blotchy under whatever foundation you are using.

If you are going to use a liquid/cream foundation after applying this product do not set it if you are applying your foundation over it. As to avoid a major tragic makeup application.

I will leave links to all YouTubers mentioned above. Without those ladies and YouTube I would still feel silly attempting to put on makeup. Thanks for your tutorials and keep them coming.
