So in the process of learning comes experimenting...
Using tips I learned from GossMakeupArtist a professional MUA on YouTube, to create this beginner's makeup look.
If you watch GossMakeupArtist then you know that he gives great tips on applying your makeup flawlessly. In this practice session I applied several tips that I have learned over this past year. As always I start with a clean and moisturized face. I tried out a different moisturizer because I am suffering from breakouts. I used Eucerin for rosacea relief. It has a green tint to it so it left a white cast on my face I didn't like that so I will not be using that to much.
Now on to the tips that I learned from Gossmakeupartist. I applied CoverGirl&Olay sculpting blush after applying my L.A. Girls ProConceal and setting both with L.A. Colors mineral powder in mocha. This gave the blush color a more natural affect. Which is important to me I can't go out looking like "BoBo" the clown.
The second tip I used was using a clean powder brush and translucent powder to blend in all the powders on my face to give a more natural finish. Even though I am suffering through breakouts I still try not to put to much makeup on. I do not want to look like a different person only a more put together me.
The last thing that I used was applying my eye shadow to create a winged eye. Since I am still a beginner at this makeup application thing my winged eye still is a hit or miss situation. So explained how to use your eye shadow to give the appearance of a winged eye. Which I did using dark brown shimmer shadow from NikaK's Geisha palette to define my outer V and to give my eye that cat eye shape. Well my attempt at it.
