I have been gone for a minute now I am back ....
As you can see by the picture to the left I have been working on my technique. This look was inspired by @MakeupbyNesha a beauty vlogger on YouTube . She recently did a black smokey eye tutorial and I decided to give it a try. As a beginner I must say I did not do to bad. I had my dreads in pin curls and added a filter and viola a 1920's-30's pin up feel.I did not use the exact products that she used but I applied the technique that she used in order to achieve that look. I switched up the lip color and cheek color to fit my skin tone and mood that I was in. In this picture to the left it is without filter and flash. All makeup products used were drugstore and beauty supply store brand makeup.
What I would do differently
I would put on a better I lid primer. The primer I used out of my Black Radiance under eye color corrector did not mix well with the NYX jumbo eye pencil (black bean), it caked up/cracked up severely in the crease of my eye. Not a good look for me.Overall, I feel as though my makeup technique is improving greatly. In the past year of learning about makeup and applying the techniques I have seen my blending become more seamless, improved on making my contour pop, and most importantly I feel more and more comfortable in using, and wearing makeup.
