Although I didn't update you I keep it going..
Boy I tell you the bull$h!t of life can derail your goals if you let it and these past weeks have been a test of my inner strength on truly achieving my weight loss goals. Between my mother coming into town, getting my daughter ready for the new school year, and dealing with personal BS, it has been a hell of an emotional ride.
Week 6
In week 6 my mom came to visit and it was a no go with any workout regime. I was on daughter duties big time, I think I cooked everyday she was in town. Personally I feel that it pay back for all the work my daughter gave her when she spent the summer her. Oh well, its all good it allowed me to improve on my cooking skills. The only vigorous activity I did was cutting the yard and medium yard work I did on Sunday. I watched what I ate making sure to eat breakfast in the morning and kept snacking down since I wasn't working out.Week 7
In week seven I wasn't that motivated to workout what so ever, but I wanted to change the way my body looked. It wasn't going to happen with me being lazy. I started out slow working out only two days that week. I did cardio kickboxing from @RealFitTv on YouTube and a @FitnessBlender YouTube video. To get the muscles back fired up and moving. It felt great when I was doing the workouts however the soreness that was associated with them the next day was not the business. I still maintained my reasonably healthy eating habits when I did indulge it wasn't to the extreme amount that I usually do. Overall it was an OK week something to build on.week 8
In week 8 I finally got in the grove of my daughter's school schedule and her birthday. I started out by doing a simple workout routines on my own example being 100-200 squats in one day or during commercials I did crunches, leg lifts, scissors, etc. Something to keep my muscle definition from disappearing. I also went back to HITT/Tabatta style workouts with @FitnessBlender continued cardio kickboxing with @RealFitTv and a sprinkling of other YouTube fitness videos from @KieraLashea. I stepped it up this week since September was only a few days away and I needed to see more muscle definition to my body. As in the past weeks I kept bad snacks to a bare minimum or none at all, increased my water intake because my skin is reacting to the stress of Bull$h!t, and most importantly I am sticking to it.Overall it hasn't been easy but my resolve has allowed me to continue so I can manifest change in my life.
As always consistency is the key to change, if you are not consistent how can you ever see your growth.
Stay Blessed.
