I finally learned how to....
If you read Nude Seduction Reloaded blog then you know that I have gain a better mastery of using that eye shadow palette. Which put me up a couple of notches of becoming my own MUA. So when I purchased Revlon cream eye shadow palette (precious metals) I had the Nude Seduction palette in mind.
Combing these two products are gorgeous together as long as you use the proper eye lid primer. Something that isn't to creamy and dries to a satin finish. For that I used the eye lid primer in Black Radiance under eye color corrector (medium). And went to work.
What I want to accomplish with this look is to be better at using cream eye shadows as a base, working with shimmer shadows, giving my eyes dimension, blending, color selection, and defining my crease.
Per usual I start with my eyebrows using Maybeline eye brow pencil (drk. brown), Black Radiance under eye color corrector (medium) to define my brows and used the eye lid primer to allow for better eye shadow application. Next, I followed up with Revlon's precious metals cream eye shadow.
The cream eyeshadow palette comes with four cream shadows that represent precious metals such as gold, brass, sliver, etc. This eye shadow has a slight shimmer to it, I applied the "gold" color to the first half of my eye and the bronze color on the other half of my lid. I applied a thin layer of the product on my mobile lids. Then used a dark brown eye shadow in my crease to blend out any harsh lines.
Next I applied the corresponding gold and bronze eye shadow color from Kiss Nude Seduction on the gold and bronze cream eye shadow and blended the two colors so no harsh lines would appear. Reapplying a small amount of eye shadow to bring it back out because some of the effect was lost due to blending. I used the highlight powder from Black Radiance under eye color corrector (medium) as my brow highlight blended that down towards the dark brown transition color.
I slightly winged out my eye liner using a curved eye liner brush from ELF and NYX jumbo eye pencil(black bean) and since I am not good at applying false lashes. I went ahead and pilled on the mascara using Rimmel lash accelerator (black) to help give my lashes a little length and drama. And viola I am done. Something simple for someone more advanced in makeup application however, for a beginner such as myself its not bad.
I created definition to my eye shape into a cat eye with a slight smoky effect. Lets hope I can replicate this when its time to look grown-up.
